nijhawank
Can somebody help me answer this question? I have a T460 (not T460s or T460p) that has Intel Wireless-AC 8260NGW. I see BCM94352Z (Dell DW1560) as the best-recommended replacement WiFi Card at various places. However, before ordering I wanted to ensure compatibility. Per https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Dell_Wireless_1560_(DW1560) it seems to have a U.FL Antenna Connectors. But 8260NGW has MHF4 Antenna Connectors per https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Intel_Dual_Band_Wireless-AC_8260_(8260NGW) So I wanted to know if I replace 8260NGW with DW1560, would I need some additional adapter for the differences in antenna connectors or is the information wrong at Wikidevi.com? I also know that there's another variation of BCM94352Z (Lenovo 04X6020). This has MHF4 per https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Foxconn_T77H543.00 but seems to have a different socket connector. 8260NGW and DW1560 are like this... 04X6020 has like this... nijhawank
51 minutes ago, Hervé said: I'm pretty sure the wikidevi information for the DW1560 antenna connectors is incorrect. Due to their own reduced size, MGFF/M.2 card are typically fitted with MHF4 connectors; it's a much smaller connector. If you look at your 2 x pictures, you can see the connectors clearly look absolutely identical. if you need further confirmation, I trust this will lift any doubt: Thank you Herve for your prompt replies, will order it soon.
