kissmo
I would kindly ask for some help and clarifications from experienced users. I am running now High Sierra on a CoffeLake core i7 8700 nonK with Gigabyte Z370 Ultra Gaming rev 1, 16 GB RAM, Samsung 970 EVO (MAC OS X SSD) and a 1060 6GB Nvidia card, iGPU disabled in BIOS. Everything is running fine and smooth under High Sierra. Since Nvidia will most likely not release its web drivers for Mac pretty soon — and I mean months of waiting for sure (in case they will actually ever release anything) — I would like to know if I can work with a dual GPU setup? I am dual booting Windows 10 as well for which I would like to use Nvidia's GPU however for Mac I would probably switch to iGPU since it is supported in Mojave. So the questions are: Is it possible to route the iGPU through Nvidia? (I am 99% it's not) Is it possible to connect the GPU to the 4K display through HDMI and when booting Mac OS it will use the iGPU and when it boots Windows it would use NVIDIA GPU (connected through Display Port)? Are there any specific changes I need to make in the EFI and Clover config file to make this happen? Please excuse any noob-ness, I have been having a Hackintosh under Snow Leopard and only in the past 4 months I have started again the project so I missed a lot. Many thanks in advance for the advice.
