dimitar1
Trying to install Mojave but got stomped while doing it. The installation goes smoothly until 2 minutes remaining and then out of nowhere it crashes. I get a preboot partition but when it runs it gets to "An error occurred while loading the installer resources. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again." Tried nv_disable=1 (I do have an NVidia GPU). Tried another USB port. Tried another USB drive. Tried recreating the USB installer. Tried different target partition schemes. Tried running IGPU only. There's a MACH Reboot right after the last line Edited September 25, 2018 by Dimitar Nestorov Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/335646-solved-reboot-at-2-minutes-remaining-exc_corpse_notify/ Share on other sites
dimitar1
It turns out that that is how it should be, even on a real Mac it just reboots out of nowhere. The problem was that I had my High Sierra SSD plugged in while trying to install Mojave on the other one. Looking at the logs, the installation was reading some files out of the High Sierra partition, so I just unplugged it and successfully installed Mojave.
