laptopower
I can go to sleep mode just fine. I can go in to hibernate mode when I have other VMs up and running (Ubuntu, other Linux), but having OS X up and running prevents hibernation from failing. The behavior goes like, as soon as hibernation is executed, the laptop and external monitor is blacked out but after about a minute later the laptop screen turns back on. I am grateful to have the VM running, but there have been many instances when I forget that the laptop will not go into hibernation mode when the VM is up and running and I end up with a hot laptop in my bag or the battery just dies when I open up the laptop. Has anyone experienced this problem? I am running Windows 10 1803 (OS Build 17134.254) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/335427-vmware-workstation-141-pro-guest-os-x-1013-prevents-laptop-from-going-to-hibernate/ Share on other sites
