uisik34
Hello all Mac freaks. I have weird situation here on my Toshiba laptop with following specifications; i7-3520M Vpro cpu 8gb (2x4GB) Ram Intel Hd4000 gpu (HDMI + VGA ports available) 1366*768 resolution Realtek ALC269Q Sound card I tried different scenario and config plist with success of installation but the problem is my laptop's LCD screen has no view. I can get desktop only through HDMI port. I tried Mac Air 5.2 and vga skylake intel and edid inject checked. Also Macbook Pro 9.2 and 10.2 but i can only have desktop on an external monitor. I attach different SMBIOS and HD4000 configration config list for your evaluation. Any geek advise will be so appreciated. config mba5.1 0x01660008.plist config mbp9.2 0x01660003.plist config mbp10.2 0x01660001.plist config mbp10.2 0x01660003.plist config mbp10.2 0x01660009.plist config mini6.1 0x0166000A.plist config mini6.1 0x0166000A_2.plist

uisik34
Quote MBP9,2 + Capri layout_id 0x01660003 are the expected correct settings for your laptop fitted with a 1366x768 LCD. You could also try to share screen once you've booted off an external display and, if you have a 2nd computer, VNC to the Toshiba to check what it shows in About my Mac (especially for the built-in display) and SysProfiler. I do not remeber the result when I used MBP9.2 config.plist. Sorry but what do you mean "CAPRI", is there something i miss here? Meanwhile It was layout_id 0x01660003 already with EDID Injected. uisik34
I succeeded to install Sierra with following result for my machine; Toshiba Portege R930-10N NOT WORKING WIFI/BT (As expected, Asus USB Nano in use) VGA Port (As expected) Brightness Slider Battery Status (I think dsdt or ssdt needed bu it is so alien to me :) Sleep / LCD Lid Close to Sleep Trackpad double click and gestures (Can be a simple solution though) Keyboard (Shortcut Multimedia - Power - Brightness) - (Can be a simple solution though) Fingerprint (As expected and no need that to be functional) iMesage - FaceTime (Return with an error code and says Contact Apple Customer Service with a ticket number) WORKING Ethernet > IntelMausi.kext ALC269 > Voodoo HDA HD4000 > Config.plist EDID Inject 0x01660003 Web Camera DVD Ram Drive LCD Display HDMI Port USB / ESata ports Shut Down / Restart Siri NOT TESTED Card Reader iCloud HDMI Sound (PCM) output I was able to get desktop on my laptop lcd screen when I set BIOS to UEFI mode but this option cause to fail me to start by USB stick on installation at the beginning. Only I am able to boot it CSM mode AHCI enable and process further to install MacOS. After all I struggle such screen problems. Anyway after setup complete I set the option back to UEFI then all LCD and HDMI started working as expected. uisik34
Here are some screenshots And my config.plist based on MBP9,2 is attached for same model users. config.plist In additon to this I saw MBP10,2 SMBIOS is more convenient for me because it has i7-3520m cpu but MBP9,2 is only i5 series. But when I use MBP10.2 SMBIOS then my USB ports are not working anymore. If anyone else can share to me any DSDT or SSDT which can be used on this laptop I will be so appreciated. uisik34
1 hour ago, Hervé said: Generate your CPU-specific SSDT using Pike R Alpha's well-known generator script, install the generated SSDT in your Clover ACPI/patched folder I am sorry, can you little bit describe the right process how to do and link of script I can download?
