Geek24
I have XP on a 160 GB drive. I used diskpart to make a primary partition of 21 GBs for OSX. I then dd'd the deadmoo image over to the partition. Everything went smooth. I next rebooted and got to the window's bootloader. I selected OS X and then Tiger-x86. the grey apple screen appeared, however it then proceeded to tell me that I need to reboot. I rebooted, except this time I booted with -x. Same thing. next, I booted with -v. I came up with this: BSD root: disk0s2, major 14, minor 2 jnl: replay_journal: from: 5808128 to: 988672 (joffset 0x32000) disk0s2: I/O error. jnl: update_fs_block: failed to update block 24976 (ret 5) jnl: journal_open: Error replaying the journal! hfs: early jnl init: failed to open/create the journal (retval 0). hfs_mountroot failed: 5 nfs_boot:networking is not initialized panic(cpu 0 caller 0xC0265EA6): nfs_boot_init failed with 6 Debugger called: <panic> Yada yada yada... Kdp_poll: no debugger device. Well that was alot to type out, givin my camera decided not to work. Anyways, thats what I'm stuck with. If anyone here can read that language, please tell me what i should do. Here are my specs: Asus A8n SLi Deluxe Athlon 64 3200+ Venice with SSE3 1024 MB Dual Channel DDR 7800 GTX 160 GB Seagate 7200 RPM ATA Hard drive with 2 partitions (XP and OS X) thats it... Thanks for the help. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/3349-cant-boot/ Share on other sites
