person4268
Hi, so I'm pretty new to hackintosh, and I would like to know if my laptop is compatable. It is an HP Pavillion Notebook 15-ab277cl. It has an Intel i7-5500U dual core CPU, and it has no dedicated graphics, and 12GB of RAM. And even if it was compatible, how would I actually install MacOS and its kexts? Do I need an existing Mac to do this? I'm really not sure where to start. Thanks. person4268
Okay, but I would like to know if there is a good way to install High Sierra without a Mac. If so, could you link a guide. I remember seeing this, where someone made a vanilla MacOs install USB without one. If I followed that guide, would it also be possible to modify it for Osx86? How? person4268
What I mean is, how would I create an installer compatible for my system without a Mac, as many guides use? Is it even possible to do so? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334845-is-my-hp-pavillion-notebook-compatible/#findComment-2625731 Share on other sites
