Alright I'm a poor college kid and I want a Mac. or at least OS X. I'm completely new at Mac but I love the smoothness of OS X. I have experience in Linux and XP. I would like to install OS X on my desktop computer and I have and OS X Tiger 10.4.6 install DVD. I can get almost any version I just don't know how to do it. Every time i try the install I get a message that I have to restart my computer and a "panic cpu 0 caller". Im assuming that my cpu is not up to par for Mac? I dont know but anyone that could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
