a1337 Posted June 8, 2018 Share Posted June 8, 2018 (edited) I'm having trouble with my High Sierra machine randomly crashing and rebooting when using some copies of IO80211Family.kext and IONetworkingFamily.kexts I found via Google which seem to be for Mac OS X 10.10. I've isolated every piece of hardware and it seems these two kexts, which do successively give me WiFi, also cause me crash problems. I was wondering if there was an updated version of the kexts for 10.13 (which I'm currently on)? I have a TP-Link WN951N WiFi card which I believe should work since it's using an Atheros AR5008 chipset. If a kext that can work without crashing my machine exists, I would greatly appreciate it!
