I just completed my first build with High Sierra. Everything is working good (ethernet, audio, graphics). The weird problem is when using the rear USB3.1 (red) and type-c (small) ports. When something is plugged in those ports, every time I shutdown, it restarts after a couple of seconds.

This only happens when using these two ports. All other USB 3/2 ports work as they should in regards to shutdown/sleep.

I've tried 'FixShutdown' on clover configurator and various settings in BIOS (enabling ErP, disabling powernap, wake on network on energy saver preferences etc) but no luck. Also, during the first sleep/wake after a fresh reboot, anything plugged in these two ports.i get the 'Disk Not Ejected Properly' error. This only happens on the first sleep/wake cycle...subsequent sleep/wake cycles are okay...and I don't get the error.

Was wondering if anyone had any similar problem and would appreciate the help. thanks!

My build:

Gigabyte GA-Z270MX Gaming 5
Intel i7-7700k
EVGA GTX 1070 SC
Samsung EVO 850 SSD
Ballistix 32GB

I think this problem has something to do with USB power?
