alanturing2 Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 I have downloaded and try to install "Osx 10.4.7 Jas Repaked" but when it copy essenctial pakage it display this error and stop to install: Bomfile error 5 : IO error -./system/library/extension/iofirewirefamily.kext/contents/plugin/applefwohci.kext/contents/macos/applefwohci in my compaq laptop 2800 there is not firewire! how can i solve my problem? Rammjet Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 Try to install again. If that fails, try to burn the DVD again using the slowest speed possible. If that fails, your iso is likely corrupt. You will need to download it again.
