kinghuff
I have a 2010 MacBook Pro 13in. Mid summer. Everything is factory. The only thing updated was the new ssd. I have the factory hard drive as an extra hard drive for storage, an SSD is my main operating system that i installed in January with minimal problems. Thank you in advance. I was following the instructions from the main poster in the link above, as after installing high sierra 10.13.4 from 10.13.3, my original hard drive became unreadable, meaning i couldn’t access majority of the files on my MacBook. After following the instructions in the link above, i was presented with the circle with a slash and can’t access either drives.... After running first aid multiple times i noticed there was a “warning: overallocation detected on main device: (49085165+1) bitmap address (1ac0e)(update) if any additional information is needed please let me know. Everything was fine yesterday =\ im gutted If anything, I would really not like to have to restore a previous backup without accessing some files on both drives to throw onto an external first. Only then i would be content with a restoration to a previous back up. so hopefully if anything i can get to some files put em on my external hard drive and then restore both drives.
