Hey everyone! I'm working on my first hackintosh desktop. Ive got Sierra 10.12.6 installed and now im trying to get my wifi card to work.

currently there is no wifi icon in the upper right of the screen in the toolbar like there should be.

This particular card

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166124

i bought because i read it was supposed to be 'plug and play' with macos so much for that i guess.

the status light on the card is green.

my mobo is z170a MSI

cpu: intel i7-6700k 4.00 ghz

ram 48 GB

I'm using clover configurator Version 4.60.3.3

currently when i go to system report on my hackintosh and look to the wi-fi subsection under Network there is

Software Versions:

CoreWlan: 11.0

CoreLANKit: 12.0

Menu Extra: 12.0

System Information: 12.0

IO80211 Family: Not installed

Diagnostics: 7.0

Airport Utility: 6.3.7

I tried a fix already using

BrcmPatchRAM2.kext in SLE
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext in SLE
BrcmNonPatchRAM2.kext in SLE

but its still not working, I'm at a complete loss and some help would be greatly appreciated.
