Hello,

I have a dell e6520 and I have installed macOS Sierra 10.12.6 on it. When I installed Sierra, someone said to me it will be possible to update to MacOS High Sierra, 10.13 so. But when I tried to boot on the installer of High Sierra, the screen stuck at the apple logo and the loading bar won't load...

I have a specially efi folder for my dell, and I have prepared the upgrade (installed newer kext, like lil or shiki), but nothing happens.

Can you help me please ?

My hardware config is in the attached files (it's minimalist, but if you want to have more specifications, I will give what you want ;) )... But the wireless card is a Broadcom 4313, unsupported but it's not a problem for me.

The disk which I have installed macOS Sierra is a Western digital, an external disk.

Sorry but I don't know if I post this in the good category...

Thanks for your reply,

have a good day.

Hello, for the clover version i use clover 4114, and i tic the following options :

Install clover un the esp

Upgrade boot0af (maybe option like this)

Clover 64 bits SATA

And i have found on YouTube a special efi folder for the e6520, so i have replace the efi folder basic by the efi folder special

Have a good day
