NeSuKuN
Reading this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Disk_Format I've noticed that UDF is supported for Read and Write operations on both windows vista and Mac OS X and Plain flavor can be used in a hard drive, so it should be possible to use a UDF partition/HDD to share files between OSX and WVISTA without relying on a third party filesystem support, virtual machines or crappy FAT32. My question is: ¿It's possible? ¿HOW? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33298-udf-on-hdd/ Share on other sites
MarkW
Along the same lines, how do you use UDF packet-writing on DVD+RWs on Macs or is that even possible? What's the best way to write data to a DVD? Just let the finder open that burning folder on the desktop and drop stuff in there? mistermaggi
Well, if you'd read the article you yourself linked, you'd have come to the conclusion that UDF is only used on DVD(+-R/W), BlueRay and HDDVD. No Disc-Format for a Harddrive, at least not yet. WinXP is also able to read UDF, so if it had been possible all the time it would have been done. Sorry to disappoint you, MisterMaggi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33298-udf-on-hdd/#findComment-236462 Share on other sites
