NeilGC Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Hi ive just installed OS86X and when I check networl status it tells me all has failed i.e. Built in ethernety/network settings/ isp/Internet when I run network setup assistant it asks me the method I use to connect to the internet but teh only option it allows i s "use telephone.# I have an ABIT IS7e mboard with built in LAN connected to a speedtouch 510v4 4 port dsl router so want to choose "connect to LAN" but i dont get the option. Nicolas Ivy Posted November 14, 2006 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Search the forum for the SKGE.kext thread. Download and run.. I believe it's the general network fix, though your mileage may vary. Worked for me, and a few other non-Marvell LANs, so you can give it a shot. Be sure to follow the directions though. I don't have the commands on hand, but I know that they're somewhere on the thread itself. If you really need them, I can probably produce them, albeit with a lot of effort. Best wishes, mate.
