DWL G520 Atheros AR5212 Fantom

Hi all,

 

I have an atheros ar5212 based pci card, it's a DLINK G520.

Under OSX (10.4.7 jas), this card doesn't appear in the pci card section or airport section.

Dmesg say me nothing about this card.

I do

 

edit /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist and change "en0" to "en1" and "0" to "1" as below:

 

<key>BSD Name</key>

<string>en1</string>

 

 

<key>IOInterfaceUnit</key>

<integer>1</integer>

 

chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions (press enter)

chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions (press enter)

 

After the change, reboot.

 

But nothing change.

 

This card work great under ubuntu.
