High Sierra Installer "prohibited" symbol (ASRock Z270M Pro4, i5-7600k, iGPU)

Hello all,

When running the High Sierra installer via Clover, I'll initially get a loading bar with an apple logo above it but then a "Prohibited" symbol will appear.

I grabbed my Kernel extensions and config.plist from this guide, in addition to using their BIOS settings:
http://hackintosher.com/builds/asrock-h270-itxac-hackintosh-build-guide/

((Admittedly I'm not quite sure what goes into the selection of the specific kexts and the config.plist setup, and given that the guide's mobo has a slightly different chipset I'm not sure if its choices are compatible- resources on doing this yourself would be appreciated if you know of any!))

My hardware setup is as follows:
CPU: i5-7600k
Mobo: ASRock Z270m Pro4

RAM: Mushkin Blackline 2x8GB DDR4 2400 [in slots A2+B2 as per manual listed priority]
GPU: integrated (Intel HD 630)
Storage: 480GB OWC SSD in SATA3_1

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD in SATA3_2

I'm going to search around and try some things, but any help is appreciated!

for ur GPU use it

- GRAPHICS : “ig-platform-id” changed to 0x59120000
- DEVICES : “Fake ID” for IntelGFX changed to 0x59128086
- BOOT : Add “-disablegfxfirmware” under Custom Flags

Thanks MaLd0n, I'll overview my settings and see how they compare.

It seems the issue was actually just that I had my flash drive plugged into a USB 3.1 port. Didn't realize the installer didn't have drivers for it. With the single USB 2.0 port on my mobo, things seem to be working.

Things are currently sitting at the Apple logo with a 2/3 progress bar. I've attached a pic below. Is this normal? I'm going to let it sit for a while and see if it progresses.

use verbose mode(-v) and check if work, after install post files here, ill edit for u

tried again with the full CLOVER zip from you as well as your 3 edit suggestions. Also went ahead and created some fake SMBIOS info. Things seem to be working, thanks!

One snag I ran into was that the installer's Disk Utility was really unhappy with my OWC drive, perhaps because it had a separate Windows recovery NTFS partition. When I tried to erase the drive it failed and unmounted it, then wouldn't let me mount it again or use First Aid / Erase. I then erased the Windows recovery partition. I'm guessing a reboot may have lead Disk Utility in the installer working to format the drive, but I decided to pop the drive into my Macbook, used Disk Utility from within macOS and formatted it to HFS+ there.

After that, things went smoothly. Was a little confused at first by having to relaunch my macOS install from Clover a few times, but then I remembered that the installer requires some resets. High Sierra is now running on my system!

Copied my CLOVER folder from my thumb drive to the mounted EFI on my hard drive. Rebooting is working fine. Now to put it through the works and see what does/doesn't work!

Is there any way I can get the bootloader to just boot straight into macOS, btw?

easy way is: disconnect others HDs, use only for Mac, after install, edits, etc, u connect again, clover will manage the boot, just set HD/SSD with Clover for Primary Boot

if ur System Work, send me files

-ur clover folder work

-tables, run it

RunMe.app.zip

-and onde ioreg, use it, open, File, Save As

IORegistryExplorer.app.zip
