andzor
I've calculated that all my "visible" folders equals about 13,5 GB of data. I've moved ALL my post-installed appz over to an other volume. But STILL I only got 1,6 GB available on my primary volume! It's a 40 GB disk/partition, and in System, Library, Users, Applications and Backup is only a total of 13,5 GB. Can anyone explain to me a posible solution? I tried to manually remove all files in my /var/tmp-folder in the terminal, but it didn't free more than about 300 MB. I'm confused, I don't know where to find left-over files on my system! Greatful for any good advice! This is mainly because an issue that consists of problems I got with temp/work-space for my software. This wouldn't have been a problem if I could set an additional volume as a working temp-disk. So if anyone knows how to do that, it's also would be great! Rammjet
Run Whatsize and let it scan your hard drive, then it will present you with all of the directories and their files with sizes. http://www.id-design.com/software/whatsize/index.php
