I've calculated that all my "visible" folders equals about 13,5 GB of data. I've moved ALL my post-installed appz over to an other volume. But STILL I only got 1,6 GB available on my primary volume! It's a 40 GB disk/partition, and in System, Library, Users, Applications and Backup is only a total of 13,5 GB.

Can anyone explain to me a posible solution? I tried to manually remove all files in my /var/tmp-folder in the terminal, but it didn't free more than about 300 MB. I'm confused, I don't know where to find left-over files on my system!

Greatful for any good advice!

This is mainly because an issue that consists of problems I got with temp/work-space for my software. This wouldn't have been a problem if I could set an additional volume as a working temp-disk. So if anyone knows how to do that, it's also would be great! :)
