Trombone_Bob
Ok I have got JAS OS 10.4.8 re-release to install on my Dell Inspiron E1505 and I have only one problem. I have read that I need to install the IONetworking.kext from 10.4.6 to get the network working. I have the 10.4.6 disk but under which package is the kext in? Or using windows in the details of the broadcom 440x driver how do I can I tell the device ID or vendor ID to plug into the 10.4.8 kext as I hear that this information would allow it to work as well? Thanks all Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33085-finding-devicevendor-ids-in-windows/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
Windows -> Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> Broadcom Ethernet Get Properties -> Detail tab Vendor id is the 4 characters after VEN_ and device id is the 4 characters after DEV_ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/33085-finding-devicevendor-ids-in-windows/#findComment-233477 Share on other sites
