But select it as the default sound device or try to set it up in LogicProX and the machine will freeze. R7 1700 3.3mghzAsus X370Pro32 gigs ramGTX 1080tiInstall is with SierraAMDv5.2 disk image and instructions from amd-osx forum. I have tried swapping out different versions of VoodooHDA.kext. I have removed AppleUSBAudio.kext and the UMC still shows up. But is unusable still. IOAudioFamily.kext is what makes the UMC show up in the OS. But I have not found any other versions to try.
