XFX7950 & GMA950

Here's my pb, i really need help

 

I've got a mobo with a 950GMA and an XFX 7950GT 512 Mb

 

I can't make Titan work with the nvidia card; i think the 512Mb are the cause of this issue (see Wallstreet)

 

 

So i want to use the GMA950 using the VGA DSUB connector of my LCD monitor.

 

I use JAS 10.4.8.

 

I've got QE/CE and fast graphics, but for that i need to erase AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.

 

If i put this AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer in the Kext folder, the GUI don't boot, it's stuck @ blue screen of death. I tried with older kext, always the same.

 

But without these kext, i have full CE/QI graphics, and i put my graphic mode in the com.appel.Boot.plist.

 

 

Well, without that AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer, i cant have access do display pane, only 1024x768, and also my biggest problem, i cant go to sleep.

 

 

Any idea to make AppelIntelIntegratedFramebuffer work to enable sleep/wake ?

Did you do a clean install using the latest 10.4.8 JaS DVD? If so, I believe you need to remote the GMA900 extension and leave the GMA950 extension. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

From a clean install, just installing the 950 package enables CI/QE...as for sleep/wake...not so much.

yes i tried with 3 different clean install,

 

still blue screen at loginwindow using the correct AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.

 

If i erase this file, i've got QE/CI with the GMA IOaccelerator,

 

but no IOFramebuffer, so no DVD and no sleep<-my pb

 

 

Any idea ?

 

PS : if i unplug the PCIE card XFX 7950GT : no pb at all
