cooldraft
I am at wit's end. I have connected two sata hard drives (one the original 40 gig drive-and the other 160 gb drive). I want to copy the smaller drive to the larger one. I installed it on the smaller hard drive because I didn't know if I would like OSX. It is wonderful, and now I want to copy my bootable 40 to 160. I have tried drive genius, tech tools, carbon copy cloner, superduper, and ghost. The only one that allows boot is suprisingly ghost (dos based utility). The problem with the ghost partition is that it is exactly a copy of the 40 gig and I can not expand the drive to give me the full 160gig. The original drive is apple_hfs, nothing will allow the drive to boot and give me the extra GB.
