_M3
Hi, lets go to the point: I´ve installed OSX 10.4.5 on my HP Pavilion DV1721 (Core solo T1350, chipset 945, ICH7, etc). The installation worked well, after some mods, all the hardware work fine, except audio in, integrated webcam and Wifi. But my problem is that this laptop gets very hot..!! My partner has the same laptop with windows XP and gets very hot too. I know is the CPU and/or de Hard-disk. The laptop works fine, but so hot is very uncomfortable. I have found that the PowerManagement.bundle controls the CPU fan, because i removed the file, and the fan doesn't work. I also found that the fan gets active when de CPU gets to 75 Celsius degrees. I think 75 is too much, I would like to set it to gets active on a lower temp.... HOW CAN I DO THAT...?? I imagine that I just need to edit a value in a file, but de .bundle are compiles i think right...? kext for example are editable. Thanks a lot.
