TheCipher
I have had this problem for a year now, (after a rebuild) but in the last few weeks its gotten worse and its driving me crazy. My audio works. At the moment its working fine. However when I start my computer it often times (well all the time now) just gives me static audio. There is audio but it's all distorted, popping, static. My solution to this is to reboot, and while on my clover boot screen, hold my power button to shut down completely. Then when I turn it back on and boot completely back into Mac, my audio works fine again. (discovered this by accident) Now this is what I have done for a year when it occasionally did this. Now however, its doing it every time I start up and often times is taking multiple reboots (with manual shutdowns) to get it working. Its becoming very annoying. I just wondered if anyone else has encountered this kind of problem? i don't know what kind of info to provide.
