Hi, I followed this guide to get my ethernet to work:

But after installing the 2 kexts and rebooting, it keeps saying cable is unplugged even though it is plugged in (I tried many cables)

Remove all the kext you have tried and install this one with kext wizzard

 

repare permision and rebuild cache
reboot

Hi, I removed the FakePCIID kext and the other BCM related one, and installed your kext.

Upon reboot, I am still facing the same problem.

I have tried many cables and routers, so I don't believe it is a connection problem.

Check if your  Device id is the kext/Info.plist
