855gm chipset resolution

Hi there,

 

I have successfully installed Jas Mac OS 4.7.1 on my gateway laptop (855GM).

As most of you guys know, the desired resolution (1280x768) cannot be achieved

no matter what I tried according the past posts on this forum.

 

If anyone could possibly come up with new idea to solve this, please let me know.

I highly appreciate your help!
