Jaws Posted August 16, 2005 Share Posted August 16, 2005 I installed using DD from deadmoo's image. Everytime I boot, I get a kernal panic or indefinite hang. I've tried safe mode, and get farther, but it still hangs on "unable to get the ethernet address." Any one experiencing the same thing, or have any ideas to get past this? P4 2.53, 512MB, ATI 9700 Pro, Abit IT7 Mobo (intel i845e chipset) Thanks for your help!
