Treso
I have a HEL80, I tried to install mac os x 10.4.4, 10.4.6 and 10.4.8 from JaS and they all install well (the setup boots, loads and installs), but when the pc restarts to boot Mac OS, after the boot darwin dialog it crashes (tells me to restart the system). I watched on verbose mode and the related kexts were something similar with IO and ACPI. If someone knows the solution post it here, its really strange that it can start from dvd and not from hdd, probably because its Serial ATA? Treso
My last post was not right, i can install and load 10.4.4 and 10.4.6, sometimes they do not load but seems randomly and now works mostly. The audio drvers and wlan are not loaded so im going to find some. Anyways im interested on the Osx86 10.4.8 dvd from JaS intel SSE3. My HEL80 has a core duo T2300 1,6ghz, the chipsets are 945GM and ICH-7, they are detected on 10.4.6. I still say that has some problem with ACPI, does someone know what shall be the problem? Treso
Yes actually I have it working right now in kalyway 10.5.3 (Installed 10.5.2 and updated to 10.5.3 without problems). My laptop came with Intel ProSet Wireless 3945abg but it's not supported and there's no stable/working drivers for it yet. I've just bought a Broadcom card that is used in newest macbooks but I've not tested it yet.
