blackice1983
Ok I just installed OSX 10.4.3 on my Compaq 1650NX. Everything works fine (had to manually set resolution, but no biggie), except for the sound. I've downlaoded AppleAC97Audio.kext and tried editing the IntelICH (as well as others) inside as described in various posts, and can't seem to get the sound to work, its AC97 so in theory it should work, any one have any idea what I need to get and do to get it workin. Thanx a bunch! No actually, I don't have the Sigmatel patch? Once I get that, is that what i would edit rather than say AudioAC97IntelICH.kext, with my 0x43701001 vendorID_productID? Where do I get that patch from, or how can I get it from ya ? --Thanks
