epsonguy
I was having problems with audio on my new C2D MBP and figured out a simple solution. If you go to control panel go to Sound and Audio Devices and under the Speaker Configuration, click the Advanced button. Select the Performance tab, and drag the Hardware Acceleration slider to None. This solved my problem. Let me know if anyone else is having the same problems. BTW I'm running Boot Camp v 1.1.2.
Rasengan
I'm having the same problem, my sound "lags" whenever I do anything with the DVD-Drive, like copying large files, or making ISO's of discs. Setting Hardware Acceleration to None, didn't help either. I think the problem is because of the proximity of the DVD-Drive to the soundcard chip. Any one know of any onther fixes?? epsonguy
It seemed like it worked but it actually doesn't. Hopefully Apple will come up with a fix that will solve this issue. I just hope that they don't wait until Leopard.
epsonguy
The real fix is to install the Thinkpad Atheros Wireless Card drivers from "The Great Driver Hunt" post. Works for both XP and Vista.
