For the last few days I have surrounded myself with all sorts of hackintosh info. Articles, videos and forums and while I know a lot more about how to build a PC, I am still not sure about many things.

I have decided on a i7 7700, 8 GB of RAM, No graphic card (I don't game) and an SSD for OS and a 2TB barracuda for storage. I am not sure however about the motherboard. I am really hoping someone can help me with it.

1) I want a mobo that is easy to work with as I want to do a vanilla install with clover after I read some not so good things about the #####.

2) I want a lot of USB ports for connecting stuff. Especially my usb audio interface.

3) I want a Mobo that is somewhat future proof. For e.g. it has nvme support so that I can install one of those storage drives once they are a bit more affordable.

4) The ability to install more hard drives in the future for expanded storage

5) I also have doubts about wifi. Does the onboard wifi work ? or do I have to get a card? I am afraid I don't understand what I have read so far except the fact that a lot of people are recommending the fenvi t-919 card.

6) Would such a setup need water cooling or would standard air cooling suffice?

all in all I want a work horse that will last me 5-6 years (of course with minor upgrades like ram and gpy etc).

Looking for to your advice :)
