I did try a few ways to fix it and it's still not working. So, if anyone knows how to bring it alive, please post here a small guide. Replace the kext, delete extension.kextcache and extensions.mkext in the /System/Library folde, repair the disk permissions and reboot. Bolschoi uspeksow! It's just a matter of grabbing the IOnetworking kext from 10.4.7 I would like to know if there is a way to fix the 10.4.8 one with some editing, rather than replacing of files. I know some Russian phrases from my mother p.e., and most of my jewish friends are from Russia. I planned a visit to Russia if I have the money for it and speak more Russian than now.
