Jas 10.4.6 on Toshiba Satellite : no sound (i852GM 82801DB ICH4-M)

Hi,

 

installation of Jas 10.4.6 on my Toshiba Satellite SA10-511 went fine (Celeron 2,5-SSE2)... except I have no sound (and nothing in audio/midi app). I looked in Windows with DXDiag and it says my chipset is :

i852GM 82801DB ICH4-M Soundmax

and a string of data :

VEN_8086DEV_24C5SUBSYS_02411179REV_0

 

So I tried the solutions I found on the forums here (download AppleAC97Audio.kext and enter Ox24c58086 (or is it Ox808624C5 ?) in the string in its Info.plist), and I did all the versions I found but nothing worked.

 

My question is : could someone explain me or show me the good thread to follow ? Or should I give up because there is no possibility ?
