cooldraft
Is there a details option in finder as in Windows? I would like to see the amount of space that these files are eating up. Is there some kind of file size management utility fir OSX? Seems strange, am I the only one that wonders where all the space has gone in the installation of OSX? Rammjet
In any Finder window, change it to list view. In upper left is a tool with 3 panels: - 4 squares is icon view - 4 lines is list view (click this) - 3 rectangles is column view List view gives file size. (You can also go to the View menu -> List -- or -- press Command-2) View menu -> Show View Options allows you to turn on size for folders Also, you can select several files and Get Info on them (File menu -> Get Info -- or -- press Command-I)
