I´m a Musician and Producer from Brazil, so I you have to excuse about my poor english. Hi, I´m tottaly new on OSX86 project. I have a Notebook HP DV1000, it´s a dv1330br with Chipset Intel 915GM/910GML and Network Realtek RTL8139/810x Wireless 2200BG e AC link Digital Audio. My first atempt on install was with the Mizars image 10.4 , but i Think it won´t work on my machine, because I intall all with the external monitor atached but after the install the OSX stop on Logo spinning and won´t boot, even with the external monitor. I would like to know, WHAT THE DVD IMAGE and version that i need to get my OSX86 running on that machine. Another quaestion is, I always see you guys talking about kexts, that I believe are like driver on PC, I only could chenge this kexts if I could boot on the system that is already instaled, don´t ??? By the way, i have A iMac g5 external HDs, one of these are usb/firewire combo with original OSX 10.4 intalled. If this info could help me iin something... I want to install that osx86 to run my original Logic Pro 7 on my notebook, is that possible ? Thank you all. GBK.Xscape Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 i have dv1000 series laptop also and i recommend you to download the 10.4.7 jas iso repack. got to torrentz.com and search for jas iso repack. then download iit and install it and when installing be sure to click customize and click the sse2 patch and gma900 series one and the wireless patch also. everything else works except for the monitor u have to use the wire trick here is the picture if you need anything else post back here. i actually dont have that computer any mroe becuase it broke so amny times best buy called it a "lemon" and let me trade it in for a macbook. YAAAY!. but i had to make up for the difference in price but still YAAAY!. good luck -forgot to add but just use a small paper clicp for the wire.
