Bob Loblaw
Mac OS 8.0 definitely works. I mentioned this back in August, when I first described how to get Basilisk running. And no, you don't have to manually edit the prefs. The trick is to create a new disk volume in Basilisk II, and then substitute a bootable volume with the same name. See http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...240&hl=basilisk for details. flow
It is so strange that I copied the Mac os 8.0 from my XP (since I didnt figure out the way of using CD in basilisk on OSX) I created a new disk and freshly installed the 8.0 there somehow, It didnt work in the OSX version and suggested the system will not work for this computer? that made me went back again to make a os7.5.5 disk is it possible that I am using a quadra650M?
