Hey guys, just to let you know I have search around these forums and the wiki, and been through 100s of pages of information and I am still stuck at this point.

Basically, I had OSx installed and working nicely on the 1st partition of my HD, the second partition is for my XP installation. This is my current situation:

200GB HD

1st partition OSX (installed)

2nd partition XP - Primary (installed)

I tried the chain0 method for dual boot which caused me to get an HFS+ partition error, so i use the terminal in the OSX DVD and Set OSX to primary, which worked but i still got the HFS error.

I have macdrive installed and can see my OSX HD, the problem is that I'm not sure which file to edit, and how to edit it from the windows or OSXDVD.

I've read about making the partition AF, but i haven't found a way to do it (they only say "make it AF" with no explanation.

I tried to fix the MBR using terminal, it was after this that my errors came up.

Is there a specific startup kext that i need to edit?

BTW, i'm using JAS 10.4.7 AMD DVD

This is really annoying me because I have 80GB of music and movies on my OSX which i can see on my windows side but can't access due to my small windows partition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I'm going out now for about 2 hours, but i will be eager to check this thread when i get back.

If there is any more info you need then don't hesitate to ask me :).

One more thing, i can't see my OSX partition with the JAS DVD, it is untitled. And before i have macdrive, XP would see the HD as unformatted and empty!

Thanks in advance,

Tom
