Hello all,

So I've been running Yosemite 10.10 on this machine probably for a few years now. I've updated my 980TI to a single 1080TI which in turn is going to force the upgrade as I don't believe there's any support for these cards in 10.10. Secondly some programs have requirements above 10.10 now =(.

To begin with I had problems with osxAptioFix2Drv on booting (memory allocation error), I've managed to find one that works (sometimes) and allows me past that screen, however I get stuck at the PCI Config Begin stage and neither npci=0x200 or 0x300 allow me to progress any further. Am I SOL with this or is there something I have missed/not doing and/or a patch required for Haswell-E as I recall having to use a patched kernel for Yosemite.

System:

I7 5820k

MSI Gaming 7 X99

16GB DDR4 2133mhz

Geforce GTX 1080ti

Various SSDs

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as that Hackintosh is currently non-functional.

Thanks.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply, using the linked files I can sometimes get past the memory allocation error, however 8/10 times I get stuck on the PCI Begin Stage and if I make it past that I end up in an infinite loop (see attached image via imgur)

It's crazy to think I had much less drama installing it on my gaming laptop on an external HDD than someone that has been running OSX previously! lol
