weichen
I installed the JAS 10.4.8 re-released Dvd, but failed. In the custom install option, I only selected two + Jas 10.4.8.combo.update + Intel.SSE3.mifki Installation is ok. But after the first reboot , it comed to a gray screen and some restart texts on it. I try to boot with -s, it crash in "Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1..........." Someone have mentioned maybe there is something wrong with the IOPCCard.kext and better to del it. But in this crash situation , i cant do anything. Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks. Sys: ThinkPad T60. weichen
1. When u install, make sure u do not select semthex or mifki kernel. The important package in the installation, that which makes it work is Jas.10.4.8.with.semthex.pkg and it already contains semthex kernel. Read this cool guy's post , i re-installed the Jas.10.4.8 again. This time, i only select two Jas 10.4.8.combo.update 10.4.4.Loginwindow And also i get a grey screen like above. I try boot with -s , and it crash in "USB caused wake event Finish loading : co" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32333-jas-1048-install-dvd-reboot-to-a-grey-screen/#findComment-226786 Share on other sites
