Ok Guys, So i have followed almost everything here to upgrade my 10.4.3 Version of OS X (installed via VMWARE to Native) to 10.4.6 or 7 (JaS DVD). The reason i want to do this is 10.4.3 is outdated, Safari doesn't work. and i can't restart without it freezing, and i can't burn dvd's in 10.4.3.

So so far, My Intel 915 Chipset

Abit AG8 i believe

Pentium 4 3.2GHZ SSE2

1gb RAM

NEC 2500-A DVD Burner

Now i first Set my NEC Drive to all the diffrent versions of IDE Master, Slave, Etc. 10.4.3 Detects my Drive

Did a firmware upgrade on the Drive

booted with -v, -s, -x, platform=x86pc. rd=disk0s1

None of it works, in the end after it has load Intel SATA, it gives me

SAM Multimedia Fail 0x04

then the infamous "Still waiting for Root Device"

I really just want to put this thing to rest and go on with my OS X Happiness, Please Help
