failo Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 My system is: Pentium D930, Mobo P5LD2. Have one hard drive and two partitions one with xp (nfts) and second for mac os. I`ve chosen customize and installed: Combo update for intel processors or something like that and sse3 package. After installation i recive a msg cpu 0, kernel panic or double panic. I upgraded os x with sse2 and the system booted once but it stoped when i should choose my keyboard layout (i read post about ps2 keyboard and usb mouse, i tryed with ps2 keyboard and mouse and the problem still occurs. My processor supports sse3, why i do have this problem? Is there a oportunity to change the kernel only? failo Posted November 6, 2006 Author Share Posted November 6, 2006 I got Mac OS X working. I installed sse2. What is the reason that sse3 doesn't work for me? I suppose i should change the kernel but how? I got sound an graphic working! Thanks for any replay in this case!
