Please Please Help a Newbie

Ok, my XP machine had to be re-installed again.

And all I did on it was play games, get that.

 

Anyway, I was to really badly move onto OSX.

 

I have a small budget, so I can but the motherboard, processor etc.

But clearly, not enough budget to buy a new fast Real OSX Intel machine.

 

I've read the guides, and got an idea, but I still see a lot of people not having

everything working.

 

So what I'm looking for is a UK specific guide, that just tell me exactly

what parts to buy or what computer system that I can buy works 100% with hardware.

 

So I just go out and by the PC or parts, knowing that the hardware will 100% work.

 

Then I just need someone in the UK who can help if I can't install.

 

I know this might seem much to ask, but I'm just want help to get started on a painless

low time, fast basis.

 

I'm looking ideally to get a faster graphics card, like a 9800 pro type working,

but I think only intel cards will work.

 

Is there anyone in the UK who has a 100% hardware working setup and has installed

osx 0x86, that can help me?

 

 

 

Please. It may seem easy for real pros! I just want to eliminate and makes things

as simple and successful as possible.

I don't live in the North East of England any longer, alas.

 

However I built a computer in order to run OS X on it by following this thread:

Everything has always worked fine.

 

Also, instead of using JaS 10.4.8 install DVD, you could use JaS 10.4.6 or 10.4.7: I can guarantee that they work without any problem. I have downloaded the latest release, but not performed an install from scratch yet.
