I´ve download the deadmooo torrent image for vmware 2 times and with the same problem: the tiger-x86-flat.img file seems to be unreadable for win rar and win ace but size and hash is correct. i have read that this compresors have problems with big files like this. What shall i do? its that "flat" thing another kind of copmpression? It´s no a rar file is tar.bz2. its the torrent file linked in concretesurf deadmoo topic page (oh.. there is no more...). i dont see any repairing file. Win rar says that it can only repair rar files. Curious if i first unbzip2 the file it converts in a 6GB tar file so i think it is the correct size for a Pearpc hd file.The problem is that when continue then suddendly the img file its only 2GB size... I still thinking its a size problem.. maybe this decompressors only handles 2 gb (some kind of fat16 legacy memory?)maximum size... dont know... ledufe Posted September 17, 2005 Share Posted September 17, 2005 i´m having the same problem, but with a different image file , i download a imgae of 1.405.540kb in e-mule, it says, "MACOSX10.4Tigerx86+Guide+VMwareWorkstation5.0.rar" and after unpack it i got 3 files the vmware5 an its keygen came in one rar file , and came too a pdf file named "Launching Mac Os X Tiger x86 In Vmware Guide.pdf" but the third file is the problem it is a .TAR.BZ2 file (tiger-x86.tar.bz2) with the size of 1.350.617kb in the windows explorer detailed view, but the winrar give me the same error message (the file is broke or corrupted), and i unpak with servant salamander i got a file with the same 6gb of size, please somebody hava a clue to help-me or i will have to download again another image? and please, forgive my poor english, just a brazillian trying to make the things work.... hehehhe i don´t know if have you read the post that i made before this, but with the "Servant.Salamander.v2.5.Beta.9.Incl.Patch-GEAR.for.www.goldesel.to.rar" that i got in e-mule i finally got the thing to work!!!! finally i will test the so famous mac os in my x86.... later i post another message in here... i hope my tip have helped.... and the image in the emule only have taked 2 days in my 600kbps connection to arrive... uhu!!!! have fun.... i will try it now....
