EVANDEC
I have the Jas 10.4.8 distro downloaded and I have found the sse2 patch for it but I have no idea how to use the patch on the install cd. How can I patch this to run on my sse2 computer. Thank you.

mathdude1284
Thats a patched update. It does not contain a new sse2 kernel nor does it patch your iso. It has nothing to do with the new dvd.
Tried
dude, the patch you downloaded is a patch for osx86 10.4.4 to 10.4.7 that uses the old kernel. it will update your version of the osx to 10.4.8 without updating the kernel. the new jas dvd 10.4.8 is only for intel sse3 and recently amd too. wait for the sse2 patches to come in the form of ppf soon when development is done all the best. patience is the way. i'm waiting anxiously too. don't forget to thank jas and semthex and the crew who made hackintosh possible. i love you guys, just read my signature
