kobiyashi
When trying to install OSX from an image file, I got this error. I'm a noob at this, so I don't know how to properly set it to read from a mounted image file (somebody helped me set it up to load right from the image for an Ubuntu install.) I've read some people have fixed this by loading OSX from a mounted image instead of just an image file. So is there a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance. kobiyashi
Update: I got it to install, and I used the AMD options and none of the Intel options, but now it won't boot. I can get back into the installer, but no OS booting.
placebo
I ran into that error for a while, was kinda panic LOL. I mapped directly the installation image to VMWare at that time, after a while I tried to use Daemon Tool to mount it, the problem gone.
