Also I'm using the intel desktop board d101ggc which has an onboard High Definition Audio subsystem using the Realtek* ALC861 audio codec. I have no audio on my 10.4.7 jas system. chris lopo Posted October 11, 2007 Share Posted October 11, 2007 I have this same board and, from a long time, I decided not trying to install OS X anymore until have a REAL fix for the slow disk access issue. The last version of OS X I've installed successfully was 10.4.6, but it was too slow. Then I've tried 10.4.7 and 10.4.8. Both deleted all partitions I have on the HD, I've lost many things.
