mackeek99 Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Hi everyone ! I'm a newbie on this forum. I tried to install 10.4.6 on a PC with a ASUS P4P800 motherboard. I boot from dvd, I get the grey splash screen page of Apple and I also see the spinning wheel goooooooood ! The thing is the spinning wheel spin spin and still sssssssspining !!! I tried to boot from DVD again choosing F8 + -v. Everything look's fine until this message: Load of /sbin/launchd failed,errno88 After that message nothing happend... Guest bikedude880 Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Maybe some more information on your PC like CPU, HD, more information on where it crashes? Anything could cause launchd to error, especially when that's the only like of the error you provide.
