JerusalemKernel Posted November 1, 2006 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Hey all---I just got the new 10.4.8, tried to do an install (i've got a Dell E1505 with the duo core 1.8), and anyhow, i created the partition, etc... When I load the DVD and start the computer, it goes through fine (i select to install), it shows the apple in the middle of the screen for 3 seconds, and then goes black. I've noticed that for the first few minutes, if I press enter the DVD reads for 10 sec. or so, and i can do this a handful of times. then nothing. i never see anything on the screen at all. any ideas???
