RedSun76 Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 I updated to JaS 10.4.8 update SSE2 Intel only and now I can't start OS X. I get the grey apple screen and the black cirlce just spins and spins. I don't get the no smoking sign. Is there anyway I can downgrade to the version I was running before? papillon Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 you can type -V -F -S after press F8 then type these two lines mount -uw / mv /system/library/exrensions/r2d2.kext /system/library/extensions/ maybe this can slove you problem.
